With over 30 years of experience, he has worked across engineering, technology, and academic leadership, helping institutions grow, modernise, and stay relevant in a fast-changing world.

At The Islamia University of Bahawalpur, he led improvements in academics, research, and overall student experience. As the founding Vice-Chancellor of Khawaja Fareed University, he played a key role in building the university from the ground up and turning it into a fully functioning institution.

Now at Al-Kawthar University, Karachi, he continues to focus on practical, purposeful, and built to last growth.

Dr. Mahboob started in electrical engineering, but his work didn’t stop there.
